for the club is announced with Brad Murrell taking over as President and
Madeline Haller taking over as Treasurer.
11.14.09 - IURC finishes the 2009
Fall season at NIRCA Nationals in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI. Men's A team
finishes 5th behind Lionel Montenegro's 12th place finish. Jeanne Weller
led the Women's team to a 15th place finish. The Men's B team places 10th
in the B race.
10.24.09 - The Hoosier Men and
Women finish 7th and 9th place out of 17 teams at the NIRCA Midwest Regionals in
Wisconsin
09.26.09 - The Men's and Women's
club team compete in their first NIRCA race of the race at MC5. Men take
3rd place and Women finish 4th
09.24.09 - Men's and Women's teams ranked in the Top 10 in the NIRCA Pre-season
poll
09.12.09 - The club opens up the
season with two races on the 12th- Bloomingfoods 5K and the Indiana Open 8K
09.04.09 - First week of practice for the club see many new members and old
members out to get the year going with record numbers of 30-50 members each day
08.27.09 - IURC begin the new
school year with the annual fall camping trip in Grand Rivers, KY
06.02.09- IURC is the featured
club on the NIRCA website for the summer. The article about the club is

05.02.09- IURC members finish the
school year and spring season at the 500 One America Mini-Marathon. 6
members placed in the top 400 overall, 5 members earned 500 club medals, and 3
members achieved big pr's in the race
04.23.09- IURC competed in the 7th annual Little Fifty race with 7 total teams
in both race. Team Mercury repeated as champions in the men's race while
the women's Crimson and the men's Cream teams took third in both races
04.04.09- Members of the IURC take part in the 4th annual IU Mini Marathon and
5K. 8 members of the club took home overall and age group awards including
Matt Flaherty in the Mini and Jeremy Rosenthal in the 5K
04.02.09- 5 Men's and 3 Women's IURC teams compete in Little Fifty
Qualifications with Mercury qualifying 1st and the crimson teams qualifying 2nd
and 3rd.

02.14.09- Several IURC men and women competed in the first ever Illinois Club
Relays with many club records falling and many members took home top 3 finishes
including the Men's and Women's DMR teams
02.01.09 - The location for The 2009 NIRCA Nationals are announced as Ann Arbor,
Michigan
01.12.09 - IURC kicks off the spring semester with practice 9-11 at the
Gladstein Indoor Track
12.11.08 - The new Executive Board of the club is announced with Ben Scott
elected as the new president.
12.02.08 - IURC becomes an official club sport under Rec Sports.
11.08.08 - The Men's and Women's IURC team traveled to Penn State for the 2008
NIRCA Nationals where Matt Flaherty won the Men's race.
09.05.08 - IURC members are filmed for part of a running video being put
together by Blue Line Style for the Indiana Running Company.
09.01.08 - Club practice begins at 5:30p at the IU Varsity Tennis Courts (IU
VTC)
08.27.08 - IURC holds their first annual fall cross country campout through Friday at Morgan-Monroe State Forest's Draper Cabin.
