Welcome to
INRunCo’s HSSOURCE!
It is our goal to
become the most comprehensive database of track & field and cross
country results, rankings, leaderboards, and statistics in Indiana.
Taking the baton from other running resource sites, we hope to
provide the high school community with the perfect atmosphere to
supplement their passion of the sport. As part-owner and manager of
the Indiana Running Company, I hope to be able to provide this
service unlike any before by using the running specialty store as a
resource and the headquarters for the site.
But, for this to
happen we need your help! Having been a part of the Indiana running
community since my high school days, I know that the site can
achieve a higher level with the input of those who regularly visit.
Every section of the database has a place for contributions:
- Full Results
from any and every meet can be submitted to INRunCo@gmail.com.
To get the results up faster we ask that the file you send
either be a link to another results website, a pdf, or a text file
(.txt). We’ll take past seasons’ meet results, too.
- Team
Rankings will be updated from the IATCCC weekly while in
season. Our site will keep archived rankings from each week in
the season. If you have past rankings that are not up, send
them to INRunCo@gmail.com and we’ll get them up.
- Leaderboards
will consist of the top 20 times in each event (no cutoff
times). These can be submitted by email or via the online form
below the leaderboard section. All submissions will be verified
before being placed on the list.
- Articles
will be written by some INRunCo hired staff and anybody else who
likes to write. We will review any articles written and if we
like it, we’ll publish it on the site. Please submit the
articles via email for review. If you do an excellent job, we
may hire you!
- We currently
have somebody working on an ESPN SportsNation™ style poll for
the website. We hope to be able to track IP addresses so we can
see how each county in the state votes on various topics.
- Photos will
be published from any meet. The photos must pass our review.
We will be looking for quality pictures with multiple runners
from all over the state in competition. Again, the more
submissions we see that we like from you, we may ask you to join
our staff!
If there’s
anything you’d like to see on the site, let us know, and we’ll do
our best to make it happen. This is as much your site as ours.
Also, take note
of the message board, live chat, and blog sections of the site under
the Talk link. I encourage anybody who is interested to apply for
their blog to be on the site. I am looking for a broad range of
people involved in the sport, so if you know of somebody who may be
interested, let them know.
I look forward to
the growth of this site and thank you for your patience as we
continually update the information we recieve.
Sincerely,
Ben Bartley
